Portmore Seafood festival will be the first of its kind in Portmore Jamaica. It will hosted at Lot 26 UDC, Portmore Town Centre and will showcase several  display booths and fish and seafood restaurants.  The event will also feature family oriented fun-filled activities catering to all members of the family including a children’s fun village.

A special addition in the Portmore Seafood festival will be a HEART Trust NTA Skills Village with trainees and representatives from the various HEART TRUST training institutions available to explain, discuss and provide information of opportunities that can be attained through their enrollment at the institution. The organisers of the festival intend to identify and provide a grant to 6 females and 6 male Portmore residents between the ages of 17 and 26. These youth must be deemed at risk and in need for intervention. Through the festival they will provide these individuals with the opportunity to acquire a skill of their choice through the HEART Trust NTA institution of their choice and a grant of $30,000.00 which will be provided by Coopers Delight, Décor and Catering Services.
